Who Is Safe Haven?
For 30 years, Safe Haven has been fighting homelessness in the Nashville community with a shelter-to-housing program that is the only one of its kind in Middle TN. Safe Haven keeps families that are experiencing homelessness together and provides “comprehensive services that empower them to achieve lasting self-sufficiency”. Safe Haven’s families have their immediate needs met in a housing first model, but from the time they arrive in Safe Haven’s shelter, the focus is on long term success. Up to 30 families at a time receive integrated services focused on stable employment, lasting self-sufficiency and secured housing.
